Man carjacked after being pepper-sprayed

LOS ANGELES Police said the victim was getting out of his car on South Robertson Boulevard and Airdrome Street when a suspect ran up and put what is believed to be pepper-spray in his face. When the victim's eyes started to burn, he ran into the 7-Eleven to get help.

It wasn't until after he flushed his eyes with water that he realized his car had been stolen. According to the victim, the suspect was arrested a short time later near Olympic Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue.

The victim was shaken by the attack, but was expected to be OK.
