Watts shooting injures 1; suspect in custody

WATTS, LOS ANGELES Officers requested an ambulance to a house at 9514 Holmes Avenue. One person was injured. Firefighters were treating the victim on scene in the middle of the street.

LAPD officers from the Southeast Division were on scene.

More units were requested to investigate the shooting crime scene.

One suspect was taken into custody.

L.A. City Fire Dept. paramedics were delayed arriving due to being stuck behind a Metro Blue Line train.

Officers broke up an altercation when a group of neighbors congregated at the scene.
