"I ran out of my apartment, and I seen her on the floor with fire on her back, and I tried to grab her, but I couldn't because the fire was too much for me," said neighbor Lisa Hobbs.
Firefighters said the woman made it out of the apartment, but died outside.
According to neighbors, the woman often smoked while wearing her oxygen tank.
The fire damaged two units in the building. Firefighters are working to figure out the exact cause of the fire.
