Wild horses, burros up for adoption

REDLANDS, Calif. The mustangs and burros were rounded up from public lands in California and Nevada. They have been dewormed and vaccinated.

The adoption fee is $125 per animal. Those who want to adopt an animal will have to meet the government's facility requirements.

Other adoptions will take place on March 6 and April 24 at Sundance Ranch, located at 27273 Pilgrim Road, off San Timoteo Canyon Road.

Saturday's adoption runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lottery adoptions begin at 9 a.m., followed by first come, first serve.
