Brush fire breaks out along Ortega Highway

SYLMAR, Calif. Fire officials say the blaze has burned at least 150 acres since erupting shortly after noon near Ortega Highway and Tenaja Truck Trail. The fire was about 25 percent contained Thursday evening.

The fire is in the Ortega Mountains of the Cleveland National Forest, about 10 miles west of Lake Elsinore.

There were no reports of any damage or injuries. No structures were immediately threatened.

The California Highway Patrol has closed all lanes of Ortega Highway due to the fire.
