Clooney is behind "Hope for Haiti," a star-studded telethon to raise money for the earthquake victims there.
Bono, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Sting and Christina Aguilera will be among the many performers during the two-hour event taking place at the Beverly Hilton on Friday.
Clooney is handling things from L.A., Wyclef Jean from New York and Anderson Cooper from Haiti.
"Help as soon as you can. Whatever organization that you like, if it's not the Red Cross, then there's Partners in Health, there's Oxfam, there's World Food Program, there's Save the Children," said Clooney.
Many of the stars on the Golden Globe red carpet didn't seem to mind getting wet from the rain, because during the downpour, they had an outpouring of compassion and support for the people of Haiti.
"I think that everybody's heart is really with them right now considering I can't even imagine what they are going through right now, and it's only getting worse," said actor Josh Duhamel, who accompanied Fergie to the Globes.
"I think it's a good thing that we can all come together and try to raise as much money and as much awareness as we can," said actress Jane Krakowski.
And while red carpets are often fashion runways, some stars, including Olivia Wilde, are using their Globe outfits as a golden opportunity for the non-profit group, Artists for Peace and Jstice.
"That dress she's wearing that was made by Gucci, Penelope Cruz and her Armani dress, Maggie Gyllenhaal and her blush-toned dress, and Georgio Armani who dressed George Clooney, and also Adrian Grenier and his Prada. All of those clothes are going to be donated to this organization and 100% proceeds are going to Haiti," said Natalie Rotman, an Associated Press fashion expert.
Hollywood is helping Haiti and Friday's telethon, which you'll see on ABC, should be a major boost.
We expect to hear more about the telethon and who is involved as the week continues.
