Local OC restaurant raising funds for Haiti

COSTA MESA, Calif. The restaurant chain has three locations: Costa Mesa, Tustin, and Orange.

Restaurant chain founder Tim DeCinces says on Thursday, January 21 the three restaurants will donate 100 percent of all food sales to the people of Haiti.

DeCinces says he's working with a local non-profit relief group, "PEACE Relief," headquartered in Lake Forest.

DeCinces says he was inspired by his 9 year old daughter, Delaney.

Over the weekend Delaney held a bake sale that raised $85 for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Members of PEACE Relief will be flying to Haiti this weekend with a shipment of food, water, blankets and other daily living essentials.

DeCinces says his food vendors are also helping with donations of their own.

PEACE Relief has responded to a number of disasters since it was created in 2005 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
