Council: Exercise no more at Sand Dune Park

LOS ANGELES The giant sand dune has become a popular exercise spot in recent years. Local residents say it's become too popular. They complain that there's too much traffic and there are parking problems around the park.

The giant sand dune was closed in August while the council tried to work out a solution.

The council decided Tuesday evening to work on steps to deter non Manhattan Beach residents from coming to exercise in the park. They decided not to permanently close the natural work out spot.

It's not clear what steps the council is now considering to keep the park for Manhattan Beach residents only.
