Inspectors from the Los Angeles City Fire Department are trying to figure out what caused a high-voltage fire at a downtown Department of Water and Power facility on Friday. The fire was reported just after 10 a.m. on North Main Street and was near several large transformers. However, the DWP says the fire did not trigger any power outages.

Fire officials said it was a receiving station and not a distribution station.

It took 40 firefighters about 25 minutes to put out the flames, and a hazardous materials team stood by as a precaution.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
