The actual robbery happened January 4, 2010. Surveillance video showed the suspect on a bicycle. He approaches the boy, rips the gold chain off his neck and pedals away.
The young victim was standing on the sidewalk near a restaurant in the 5300 block of South Main Street, where he and his family had just finished eating.
