Calif. students jump to set Guinness record

ALHAMBRA, Calif. To break the record, students jumped for 10 minutes.

Harlem Globetrotter superstars Big East Lofton and Fight Time Lang joined the students for the "Jamba Jump Day."

Some 80,000 student across the state are taking part Monday hoping to break the current record that's held by Australian students, with 59,000 people participating.

Students were also jumping to call attention to National Heart Month and the importance of physical activity for children.
