LAKE FOREST, Calif. --
Officials at the El Toro Library in Lake Forest were shocked by a recent generous donation of $1,500 from an embattled medical marijuana dispensary. The 215 Agenda dispensary has been targeted by the city of Lake Forest for violating the city's zoning laws. The city is involved in several lawsuits involving dispensaries in Lake Forest.
When the dispensary learned about the library's financial troubles, employees put out a tip jar to collect money for the library. The manager of 215 says the $1,500 is just an initial donation and more money is still being collected.
The money will be used to help get a new air filtration system for the library.
