It took jurors just an hour to reach the guilty verdict Tuesday.
Prosecutors argued that Hall killed Nathan Coleman while he was babysitting the youngster in Los Angeles in September 2008. He then put the child's body in a trash bag and threw it in a Long Beach trash bin.
Hall told the boy's mother and police that the child had been kidnapped. Eventually, he admitted his role in the crime.
During his trial, he took the stand and claimed the boy's mother had murdered her own child, and he helped her cover up the crime.
Hall now faces 25 years to life in prison. He is set to be sentenced on March 15.
