L.A. Sheriff's Dept. investigates possible suicide

CASTAIC, Calif. A deputy on patrol spotted the blue Honda just before 10 a.m. Tuesday and saw someone slumped over the steering wheel.

But the deputy backed away after spotting warning signs on the car, which said "Stay Away" and "Dangerous Gas."

Deputies learned the car belonged to a woman who had been reported missing and was last seen Sunday.

Just before noon, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus opened the car.
