Stewart's new movie 'Handkerchief' debuts

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES In "The Yellow Handkerchief," /*Kristen Stewart*/ plays one of three lonely strangers who wind up on a road trip together.

The teenagers try to help an ex-con reunite with his lost love and, in doing so, may find love themselves. The film, shot in 2008, had been waiting for a home in theatres for some time.

"It's so cool that 'Twilight' was able to help this get released," said Stewart. "We had a sort of premiere, I think, last year and then we were at Sundance, so it's been a long time coming. We're both really proud of the movie. So it's cool that 'Twilight' was able to help it out."

Eddie Redmayne stars opposite Kristen. He was equally impressed with the film's more experienced stars-- William Hurt and Mario Bello.

"Doing that with Kristen, William and Maria, it was a treat because they are extraordinary actors," said Redmayne.

"He's an incredible actor and so is she. I saw her in 'Into the Wild' and just fell in love with her depth and her emotional truth. I think she's incredible," said Bello.

"The Yellow Handkerchief" is rated PG-13. It's in theaters this weekend.
