Collectors turned away at Wayne Newton home

LAS VEGAS According to the ABC station in Las Vegas, process servers arrived under a court order to settle a $500,000 debt.

It all stems from a civil case involving one of Newton's former pilots. That pilot sued Newton and won for lost wages.

The process servers were apparently there not only to collect cash, but also Newton's personal property to help settle the debt. However, no one let them on the property.

Police say the case now returns to Clark County District Court.
