City workers stuck in truck in L.A. River

Three L.A. city workers were struck in a truck in the Los Angeles River Monday afternoon at 3 p.m.City firefighters were on scene rescuing the workers from the fast-moving river water.

Rescuers got a secure rope from the riverbank out to the truck and the three city workers were individually escorted through the water to the bank by rescue personnel.

The truck was stuck in the river near 1st Street.
