The girl's mother had filed a missing-persons report after she couldn't find her daughter after going to pick her up from school Thursday afternoon.
During the investigation detectives learned that Francisco had been communicating with the juvenile on the social networking site and was planning to pick her up from school Friday. The 13-year-old was with Francisco at the time of the arrest, officers said.
Francisco was taken into custody and booked for kidnap, with additional charges expected to be filed. He is currently being held on $500,000 bail.
