2 brothers rescue 4 from icy pond in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. This story began to unfold Tuesday night, when a little boy and girl were chasing geese in an Omaha suburb.

Seconds later, they fell through some thin ice.

Two teenage brothers from Nebraska saw it happen, but before they could reach the site, a mother and her daughter also fell in.

That's when the brothers grabbed a hose and used it to pull all four to safety.

"When I got about a foot out there, I reached as far as I could and I grabbed the little kids and since they were so little, I just picked them up and tossed them off the ice," said one of the brothers, Brandon Hile.

All four victims were rushed to a nearby hospital with symptoms of hypothermia, but all are expected to recover.
