3 men pistol-whip resident, flee with cash

LOS ANGELES Police said three men kicked down a bedroom door, demanded money and pistol-whipped a man in a house on the 300 block of North Burlington Avenue just after midnight. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbers tied up the husband and wife with duct tape, but the man was able to free himself and alert a neighbor.

Police do not believe the incident was gang related. Officers say the suspects are male Hispanics in their 20s. Anyone with any information about them is urged to call the LAPD Rampart station at (213) 484-3400.
