People magazine reports that representatives for Bullock and James say the stories aren't true.
Bullock left the couple's home just before a report of infidelity by her husband surfaced. And although James calls the majority of allegations made against him "untrue and unfounded," he released a statement to People magazine issuing an apology to his wife.
"It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way," he said. "This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them."
She and James were married in July 2005.
