He was confronted by several suspects.
Police say with no apparent motive the suspects shot Dorsey several times, ran to a getaway car, and drove eastbound on 84th Street from Halldale Avenue.
Paramedics pronounced Dorsey dead at the scene.
There is no description of the suspects at this time.
