Police say the two were supposed to be friends.
The argument escalated and got physical.
A witness tried to separate the two men, at which time it is believed Flores stabbed Vanhorn with an unknown object.
Flores fled in his vehicle.
VanHorn was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Investigators learned that Flores had a former address in the City of Anaheim.
Anaheim police were contacted.
Within a matter of hours Flores was spotted in his car, and was taken into custody with no further incident.
Flores is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday March 31, 2010.
No word on what set off the fatal argument.
