Many ties on Week 3 'Dancing With the Stars'

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES Evan Lysacek quickstepped his way to the judges' No. 1 spot, and it couldn't have been easy with his broken toes.

"The beauty of pharmaceuticals really helped me out tonight and taping and icing and being proactive," said Lysacek, who said his toes are black.

Erin Andrews, who tied for second place this week, did not want to talk about her legal drama involving a stalker. She was playful, though, when it came to dancing the waltz blindfolded.

"Last week, Len killed me for not trusting my partner. This week, I trusted my partner and he killed my partner. I'm confused," said Andrews.

Also tied for second was Nicole Schzeringer and Derek Hough who were criticized for breaking the rules with their quickstep.

"I had a feeling I knew what the judges were going to say. We broke the 'Len Commandments,' but we're going to come back next week if we are invited and repent and do a technical judge-pleasing rumba," said Hough.

With triple sevens, Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower tied for fourth place with Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel and Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood.

"I really feel the whole journey of the dance, but if my feet would listen to my brain, actually it might be worse. I don't know," said Anderson.

Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska were one point behind them, and so were Chad Ochocinco and his partner Cheryl Burke, who received a diamond ring from her dancing star.

"It's a thank you for the time I've put in with her the last seven weeks. I'm dealing with her nine hours a day every day, so it's like a marriage. I deal with the nagging so it's like a marriage," said Ochocinco. "Beyonce said 'put a ring on it,' so I did."

Kate Gosselin landed in ninth place this week with Buzz Aldrin again at the bottom.
