Arrest made for fatal shooting of teenager

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. Both the victim and the suspect are 16 years old. Investigators say the two were supposed to be friends.

Officers were called to a home on the 400 block of South Rancho Avenue following a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found the victim in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics later pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Detectives arrested a 16-year-old juvenile in connection with the case. The suspect has been booked at Juvenile Hall on a murder charge.
