A Disneyland employee called Eyewitness News to report the suspicious object, which was spotted near the Harbor Boulevard shuttle entrance to the theme park.
According to police, the suspicious device turned out to be a piece of clay stuck on a pole.
The park was not evacuated, only the immediate area was closed off. Harbor Boulevard and the Harbor entrance to Disneyland were not closed during the incident as originally reported.
