Crews knocked down flames in less than 10 minutes. They found a man in his 80s and a woman in her late 70s inside in separate locations, and neither victim was showing signs of life.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital. The male victim was declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. His name has not yet been released. The woman remains in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
