Buena Park gas station robbed, clerk injured

BUENA PARK, Calif. On April 17, two men walked into the gas station at 8510 Knott Avenue and attacked the clerk. They say one suspect jumped over the counter and started punching the clerk while the other joined in on the assault. Fortunately, the clerk suffered only minor injuries.

Investigators say the robbers stole some cash and took off in a getaway car. They were last seen driving westbound on Crescent Avenue.

The first suspect is described as Pacific Islander man, between 20 to 30-years-old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 to 220 pounds, with a medium complexion and full beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts and grey high tops shoes.

The second suspect is described as Pacific Islander man, 20 to 30-years-old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with a dark complexion. He was last wearing a dew rag hat, black jacket and blue jeans.

The suspects' vehicle is described as a dark-colored newer model full-size pickup truck, possibly lowered with tinted windows.
