Man allegedly molested kids at Downey library

DOWNEY, Calif. Authorities said a 6-year-old girl claimed the suspect, Daniel Gil, asked her to help him get a book on April 13. When she reached for it, she says Gil sexually assaulted her, and then left.

Nearly a week later, a 9-year-old girl told her mother that Gil assaulted her. The mother pointed him out to staff members, who wrote down a partial license plate number as he drove away.

Gil was arrested and charged with /*lewd and lascivious acts*/ on a minor.
