Gunman at large after shooting pedestrian 3x

HIGHLAND, Calif. Investigators say the victim was walking northbound on McKinley Street at about 8:00 p.m. Tuesday when he was approached by a brown, late model Honda. The driver asked the victim what gang he was in. When the victim responded that he was not in a gang the passenger in the car leaned over the driver's side window and opened fire with a black handgun.

The victim was struck three times. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The suspects drove away, eastbound on 9th street.

Investigators are asking for the public's helping in identifying the shooters. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Highland Station of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
