SANTA CLARITA, Calif. --
Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are mourning the tragic death of a colleague on Thursday after an off-duty deputy was killed in a motorcycle crash in Santa Clarita.The accident
was reported at McBean Parkway and Arroyo Park Drive at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Deputy Cameron Glover, 27, was riding his motorcycle when he was off-duty when he collided with another car traveling in the same direction.
Glover lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Glover had only been on the force for four years and in the Santa Clarita area for the past two years. He leaves behind a wife who is seven months pregnant.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
