Michaels expected to make a full recovery

LOS ANGELES Doctors plan to hold a news conference Tuesday to give more details.

Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage shortly after an emergency appendectomy last month.

The doctor at the neurological center in Phoenix where Michaels is being treated, says Michaels' "sheer will to live and fully recover," the fact that he got immediate medical attention when he knew something wasn't right, and he fought to stay conscious during the hemorrhage all worked in his favor.
