Authorities said Levy, an amateur radio technician, broadcast the threats sporadically for 30 hours over the weekend. The broadcasts interrupted Cal Fire operations, including a search-and-rescue. Levy also apparently made a bomb threat.
Authorities said Levy disguised her voice as a male adult during all of her transmissions.
Investigators located the signal and arrested Levy at her home on the 900 block of S. Grand Avenue early Monday morning.
Police seized 11 radios, 7 radio frequency scanners, radio frequency lists, computer equipment and other miscellaneous radio equipment from her home.
Levy was booked at the Hemet Jail and charged with making terrorist threats, false report of a bomb threat, and maliciously interrupting, disrupting, impeding, or interfering with the transmission of a public safety radio frequency. Her bail is set at $50,000.
