Silver's daughter flew in from North Carolina for the big day. She hadn't seen her father in 10 years.
Silver says he's grateful to the company that ran the billboard.
"They was really great from the start. They really tried hard to make sure everything went good and smooth for us," Silver said.
The non-profit Mobile Loaves and Fishes says it will do what it can to continue to fight homelessness. The group says it plans to keep the billboard up and feature more homeless people.
