DMV workers busted for selling fake licenses

LOS ANGELES Investigators said the four women issued fake driver's licenses and vehicle titles. They reportedly charged between $300 and $6,000 dollars to process the phony paperwork.

Investigators say three of them worked in the downtown Los Angeles area, and one worked in Fullerton.

The charges include suspicion of conspiracy, grand theft, forgery, illegal computer access and bribery.

DMV officials say an alleged middleman also was arrested on firearms and narcotics charges. He is not a DMV employee.
