A seventh Democrat, Emeryville lawyer Mike Schmier, did not meet the threshold to participate in the debate.
The winner in next month's primary will face the Republican nominee - Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley, constitutional attorney John Eastman or state Sen. Tom Harman.
