The Orange County District Attorney's office says on September 30, 2009, Jimenez-Gonzalez followed an 18-year-old female student and asked if he could walk her home. When she refused, he continued to follow and talk to the girl, luring her into a laundry room of an apartment complex on Williams Street in Tustin.
Jimenez-Gonzalez fled the laundry room when someone walked into the room. The victim reported the sexual assault to the Tustin Police Department.
