Four teenagers leaving their prom were injured in a car crash in Garden Grove, and police say street racing and alcohol may have been involved.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. near West Street and Reva Lane. The students, who attend Marina High School, were leaving the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim when the 18-year-old driver swerved to miss another car, lost control and hit a parked truck.

All four were taken to UCI Medical Center with minor injuries.

The driver of a second car, which may have been racing with the students in the car that crashed, stopped at the scene and was questioned by police.

The investigation continues.
