CA renews bid to suspend Murray's license

LOS ANGELES The board has asked a judge to suspend Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license. He faces involuntary manslaughter charges in Jackson's June 2009 death from propofol and other drugs.

He has pleaded not guilty.

In April, the Texas Medical Board restricted Murray from administering propofol or any anesthetic agent normally administered by an anesthesiologist.

Murray is currently banned from using anesthetics in California. Authorities argue that the current ban is insufficient.

Murray is due back in court on Monday.
