Joel Flores, the 15-year-old, was declared dead at the scene. Alexander Flores, the 4-year-old, was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died.
There were no immediate charges. Police said they were treating the incident as a terrible accident.
2 boys killed as dad backs big rig over them
WILMINGTON, Calif. Police said the boys, ages 4 and 15, were with their father at a truck washing facility at 1320 E. Lomita Blvd. at the time of the accident. The boys were playing on the back of a semi without a container attached. When the father moved the truck, police said the boys fell off, and the father ran over them.
