Suspected Bank Robber Arrested in Texas

RIVERSIDE, Calif. /*Zachary Clark*/, 22, was arrested June 10 in Port Aransas, Texas. Officers from the /*Inland Regional Apprehension Team*/ and the Port Aransas Police Department took him into custody.

Clark is believed to be responsible for a string of bank robberies that started in March 2010 in Riverside. The most recent heist occurred on May 29. Police say in each incident, the robber passed a note to the bank teller demanding cash.

/*Riverside Police*/ department detectives were able to identify Clark after the May 29 robbery. After following leads throughout Southern California, they determined he was no longer in Riverside. They requested /*FBI*/ assistance with the case.

Clark is set to be extradited back to Riverside within the next few weeks. He will be charged with six counts of robbery and one count of armed robbery.
