'Toy Story 3,' 'Jonah' hit the big screen

Hollywood Wrap with George Pennacchio
LOS ANGELES Eleven years after their last animated adventure, the toys are back for "Toy Story 3."

This time around, the toys end up at a day care center when their almost grown-up owner, Andy, heads for college. It's there that Buzz, Woody and the gang met up with some new friends -- including Ken and Barbie.

"Toy Story 3" is rated-G. And that's it for this week's family-friendly fare.

Also in wide release, the PG-13 rated "Jonah Hex."

Josh Brolin plays the title role in this comic book turned big screen film, a civil war hero turned bounty hunter. It's part western and part action-adventure.

"We just wanted to go far out with this, man. We just wanted to go as far out as we could," said Brolin. "That's what was interesting for me and that's why, you know, I wanted to do it initially."

Brolin plays a bounty hunter with warrants on his head. If he can take down a terrorist ready to wreak havoc on America, the U.S. will wipe the slate clean.

In limited release, there's "Cyrus."

John C. Reilly plays a recently divorced dad who's falling for a single mom, played by Marisa Tomei. But her over-protective son isn't going to make it easy for him in this R-rated comedy.

And from the foreign film world, there's "I Am Love."

Tilda Swinton stars in this Italian language love story set in Milan that turns tragic at the turn of the millennium. It's also rated-R.

And that's what's new at the movies this weekend.
