Vince Neil arrested on DUI charge in Las Vegas

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil was arrested late Sunday on suspicion of drunk driving near the Las Vegas Strip, according to police.Records showed the 49-year-old rocker was released Monday after being held at the Clark County jail on $2,000 bail.

Neil has a Sept. 27 court date. It's not immediately clear if he's got an attorney in the case.

Neil is the frontman for a heavy metal band with hits like "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Dr. Feelgood." He lives in Las Vegas, where he has tattoo shops and the Vince Neil Tres Rios Cantina at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Neil recently released a solo album, "Tattoos and Tequila," covering 1970s rock songs.
