The Oscar-winning actress finalized her divorce from celebrity biker /*Jesse James*/ last week in Texas. The 45-year-old filed for divorce in April after reports surfaced that James had been cheating.
Details of the settlement were sealed by the court, but /*Bullock*/'s initial filing cited "discord or conflict of personalities" as reason for the split.
The divorce paves the way for Bullock to complete her recent single-parent adoption.
The actress and "Monster Garage" star met in 2003 and married in 2005. It was the first marriage for Bullock, who became a devoted stepmom to James' children: Sunny, 6; Jesse Jr., 12; and Chandler, 15.
Their problems surfaced in March, just 10 days after Bullock won the best-actress Oscar for her role in "/*The Blind Side*/." Internet rumors surfaced that James had been unfaithful while Bullock was away making her Oscar-winning film.
James later confirmed he cheated on the actress, saying in a tearful interview on ABC's Nightline in May that he "took a pretty amazing life and marriage and threw it away."
