Propane-truck crash shuts down 57 Fwy traffic

SAN DIMAS, Calif. /*California Highway Patrol*/ officers closed at least three lanes of the southbound 57 at Covina Blvd. By 4:30 p.m., two southbound right-hand lanes were open and two remained closed. At 6 p.m., all lanes of the freeway were open.

According to the CHP, the collision was reported at 2:21 p.m.

At least one propane tank reportedly exploded. Firefighters were called to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

All northbound lanes were opened by 3 p.m.

It was not clear if there were injuries.
