Oakwood Apartments flooded after pipe bursts

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. Firefighters were called to the 3600 block of Barham Boulevard at about midnight after a pipe ruptured and water started pouring into first-floor apartments. The water was ankle deep in many apartments and in the hallways.

Several apartments were flooded. As a result, water to the complex has been shut off, leaving nearly 3,000 tenants without service.

So far, there's no word on when the water will be turned back on.
