O.C. brush fire 15 percent contained

IRVINE, Calif. Orange County firefighters said at least 100 acres have burned so far at /*Irvine Regional Park*/.

The fire was reported at 3:16 p.m. Sunday At Jamboree Road and Chapman Avenue, said Greg McKeown, spokesman of the /*Orange County Fire Authority*/.

When firefighters got to the scene, it was 3 acres and being fueled by wind. Then it quickly grew to where it stands now at 50 acres.

No structures were ever threatened and it is still unclear just how the fire started.

The wind there has died down.
