The homeowner called police but did not press charges.
Some neighbors said the same man crashed an outdoor party earlier in the morning only wearing boxer shorts.
"We last saw him crawling over those bushes and just going fence to fence and lost him in the night," said Nathan Brown of San Diego.
Police said when the man woke up naked in the house he was arrested in, he thought he was in his own home in Mission Valley, which is about 20 miles away.
