ORANGE, Calif. --A brush fire burning in Orange County is 100 percent contained on Monday.The fire broke out at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the northeast part of Irvine Regional Park in Orange. Some 250 firefighters battled the fire from the air and on the ground.
It was first reported at three acres, but the blaze quickly grew to about 100 acres.
No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire was caused by illegal fireworks. No one has been arrested.
