FULLERTON, Calif. --
A 61-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman at a laundromat in Fullerton on Tuesday, police said.Authorities said the Ralph Pierce stabbed a female employee once in the chest on the 400 block of South Harbor Boulevard
at about 5:30 p.m., and then fled the scene.
The woman was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she was in stable condition.
About an hour after the stabbing, police arrested Pierce on suspicion of aggravated assault and recovered a knife in his possession.
The motive for the attack was unknown.
